Radar Processing for the Royal Navy

Cambridge Pixel's radar processing technology is found on many Royal Navy vessels, and we've supported many of their projects, directly or through suppliers. As a British company, we've always has a close relationship with Royal Navy projects.  Our managing director, Martin Hoather, started his career as a Royal Navy Engineer Officer and has worked within the MOD, DSTL and the Private Office of the Chief of Defence Staff, deepening our understanding of Royal Navy requirements.

Field-tested on many types of military vessels, including destroyers, mine hunters, aircraft carriers, submarines and USVs, our solutions provide the accuracy and reliability required for naval defence.

Naval projects often include our radar interface cards, radar scan conversion, radar video distribution, radar target tracking, fusion of track data from multiple radars and other sensors, GPS-denied navigation and radar/sensor processing for Uncrewed Surface Vessels (USVs). Our engineering team are experienced in supporting projects for the Royal Navy, both directly and through suppliers and integrators.

Cambridge Pixel remains an excellent choice for future Royal Navy projects. Our track record and status as an employee-owned company ensure long-term stability. Additionally, our strengths include conformity to Open Standards, a certified quality management system and compliance with key industry standards.  We have worked on projects supporting many Royal Navy suppliers, including BAE Systems, Babcock, Leonardo UK and Thales UK.
