Modular Solutions For Radar Video Processing And Display
Radar Processing and Scan Conversion Solutions for Windows and Linux/X11
Cambridge Pixel provides off-the-shelf radar acquisition, processing, tracking and display solutions from our SPx and HPx product families for applications in naval command and control,
air traffic control, vessel traffic and air-borne radar applications.
The SPx radar processing family takes full
advantage of high-performance, multi-core processors
and graphics (GPU) processors, reducing maintenance costs
and dependence on specialised hard-to-replace custom hardware.
The SPx Toolkit is designed to be flexible, extensible and open. Our SPx Scan Converter is a powerful and highly
flexible display tool for presenting real-time radar displays. It provides real-time fading and supports multi-channel scan conversion allowing
different radar inputs to be displayed
simultaneously in multiple colours.
HPx-100 PCI and HPx-150 PMC Radar Interface Cards
The HPx-100 PCI and HPx-150 PMC Radar Interface cards provide an easy and
cost-effective acquisition solution for primary radar
video.
The cards interface
to analogue or digital radar signals and capture primary video
for processing or display. The cards are
available with accompanying low-level drivers for Windows
and Linux, and may optionally be supplied with SPx server software for radar
video distribution, plot extraction, tracking or radar recording.

Radar Display on a PC
The HPx-100 radar interface card and SPx Scan Converter provide
a cost-effective solution to the display of primary radar video on
a PC. You can develop their own application using the SPx modules to handle all
radar acquisition, processing and display (including mixing of radar with overlay
and underlay graphics), or you can use the SPx FrameWin application to provide an
out-of-the-box radar display application with radar, overlay and underlay maps.

Primary Radar Tracker
SPx Track is a cost-effective, full-featured primary radar
tracker, which is available as a C++ software library, or as a Linux/Windows application
server. It provides multi hypothesis tracking that can simultaneously consider
multiple interpretations of measurement data. This offers excellent robustness and
tracking performance when compared with simpler single hypothesis products. SPx Track
provides an optional GUI display for system monitoring and control. Radar processing
functions (STC, FTC, area blanking, thresholding) are available through the GUI,
which also provides for display and and control the tracking parameters.
